You may have heard about how other people make a lot of money online without actually selling anything. If you have not heard about the ppc until today than this might be a start for you. You may have probably received in your mailbox a lot of offers that invite you to join a certain pay per click program. If you are still not familiar with the term, pay per click means that a certain advertiser will pay you a certain amount of money (usually a division of a cent) to click on a specific ad. You may think that this is a scam but actually the concept behind this is real. If you are a webmaster you probably are interested in getting more traffic to you in order to sell advertising space for other advertisers. This of course would depend on how many visitors you will get a day/week/month. So if we put ourselves in the advertisers shoes, we would like to have tons of visits to our website monthly… and maybe some of those visits will turn into sales and make more profit… and so on.
Ok… enough about advertisers…. How can ordinary people that have no specific training make money out this? Just follow the concept! The many visitors you can generate for an advertiser the more money you can make. At the beginning, this strategy worked well; however, the last years it has become less and less profitable mainly due to two reasons: advertisers get a lot of traffic, but to little of that turns into sales because the visitors only click blindly on their website without actually reading the content, and second, the pay per click programs appeared and disappeared like mushrooms, so their credibility has taken a serious hit. Despite those facts, there are still programs out there that still work.
Basically when you join a program you will receive several links daily in your inbox and you will be payed when you click on them. It is good to know that you will be payed only one time for each link you click so you can not click on them all day long hoping you will make a fortune .The best part about them is that you can make money not only by clicking on their links, but also if a person will join their program at your suggestion, they will become your referral and you will also win a percentage of their income (their income will actually be the same no matter if they are your referrals or not; you will only receive a bonus from the program admins).
Even if what I have said above sounds very good, you can not actually earn too much out of this unless you will consider building a website and writing reviews of the programs that you are using in order to get more referrals. My personal suggestion would be to join a pay per click program for a week or so, see how much you made within that time and do some calculations to see how many referrals you will need to make a decent income out of pay per click programs.
In the end, I will say that I am not going to make any suggestions to a specific ppc program, because there is no hidden purpose of this article and I wouldn’t want someone to think that I am just doing this so I can get some more referrals myself.
